Very nice guy. Some of his antics will make you laugh. He is kennel trained. Pretty much house trained, his way to let you know is walking back and forth near the door so awareness is needed. He would do best in a home where there was another dog his size that likes to play. Gus was never socialized with other dogs or people until he came to Canine Comfort. But he has a natural curiosity and loves to engage with all the attention he can get. Once play is over he will lay down. He seems to be a balanced dog and is still exihibiting puppy antics that can get him into a scolding, example is he will pick out one thing from the waste basket and ... (Read More)try to take it to his bed to tear it up or eat. He does let me take it away with out a fight, I do this by telling him 'NO TRASH' then gently take it out of his mouth. He may try to hold it but repeating 'NO TRASH' will get him to release. He needs a person to help him learn to play ball, fetch and all the games dogs like to play. Gus will be neutered before he goes into his new forever home. All dogs are give appropriate vaccination and wormed on intake at Canine Comfort, Inc. (Less)
